Nicole Glover began playing the saxophone at the age of eleven. In high school, she was playing in various jazz festivals across the country with Thara Memory’s Pacific Crest Jazz Orchestra and was one of 16 students selected to take part in a domestic tour with a national honor band, the Next Generation Jazz Orchestra. Throughout her musical career, Nicole has had the pleasure of performing with such great musicians as Mulgrew Miller, Rich Perry, Wynton Marsalis, Esperanza Spalding, Bobby Watson, Kenny Garrett, George Colligan, Mike Clark, Jimmy Greene, Christian Scott, Essiet Essiet, Mel Brown, Julian Lage, Obo Addy, Wycliffe Gordon, Red Holloway, Terell Stafford, Dana Hall, and Thara Memory. She has recorded on Esperanza Spaulding’s Grammy-award winning album “Radio Music Society”, as well as Barra Brown’s “Songs for a Young Heart” on the local PCJE label. In 2013, Nicole was invited to travel to France to play in the Vannes Jazz Festival with the Alan Jones Quartet.
